The restaurant is in the downtown area. The surrounding area is a little sketchy but not overly so. Parking was easy to obtain. The overall atmosphere was pleasant with pleasant and the serving staff were pleasant and helpful without being constantly at your ear (a good thing, I think).

The choice of appetizers included vegetable chicken and fish pakora, vegetable samosa, cucumber salad, Dal soup and my favourite, Mulligatawny soup (I highly recommend this).

They have a wide choice of Nan, Roti, Parantha etc.

They have several Tandoori entries. In the chicken entries, I recommend the Butter Chicken on personal experience (4/6 heat was perfect, spicy yet survivable). They also have Chicken Coconut, Chicken Vindaloo, Ch. Saagwala, Mango Chicken and Chicken Curry. They have a wide variety of lamb and pork dishes and sea food specialties. In the vegetarian area we tried the Navrattan Korma at level 4/6 (very good, very spicy, not as easily survivable – will order a 3 or 2 next time). They have combination plates and meat and vegetarian meals for 2. Wine was actually reasonably priced!!!

This was a very pleasant meal in a nice comfortable restaurant that did not cost an arm and a leg. I highly recommend it.

For a scene that’s casual but on the edge of trendy, with a pub like atmosphere but with better food, try Doc Willoughby’s, in the heart of downtown. The building was once a pioneer drugstore (note the hammered-tin ceiling), but the interior has been done up in a strikingly contemporary design. This is a good spot for lunch, as the entire front of the restaurant opens to the street; you can watch the to-ing and fro-ing of tourists as you choose from salads, burgers, and sandwiches. At dinner, the eclectic menu offers lots of fish, chicken, and pasta dishes.

Doc Willoughby’s is an intimate and interactive venue for unbelievable live music, and unreal Canadian talent. Although you don’t have to be Canadian to play here it sure helps.

Beginning with one Leroy Earl Fuller, there’s been an Earl in the restaurant biz since way back in 1954. But the real earls’ got started by Leroy ‘Bus’ Earl Fuller and his son Stanley Earl Fuller in 1982. They began their adventure armed with only a box of wooden parrots, some green and white paint, and an insanely delicious, cracker of an idea: create an inviting space where everything good in life is made better. Throwing in helpings of casual comfort and a flirtatious sense of fun, they created a recipe for a drinking and dining experience that makes above-average eateries seem downright dreary.

Casual Dining Done Right
On the restaurant side, we always try to bring you a little more. More delicious ways to discover what good times can be. More smiles per minute. We go to crazy lengths to create dishes you’ll crave, from comfort food with the flavour cranked to 11, to fine-dining treats with the formality turned way low. The casual West Coast vibe brings it all into harmony.

Good Spirits Made Better
If you’re looking for something (or someone) special, it’s right here at earls’ bar and cocktail extravaganza. With drink specials, exotic concoctions and a gregarious attitude, it’s the perfect place to watch the game, dig into a crazy conversation or just hang with the gang

When you think Kelowna, you think of beautiful Lake Okanagan, incredible wines and food, stunning views and all-day sunshine. So it is with Earls Kelowna Restaurant. You’ll love our amazing selection of food and the tongue-tripping assortment of local Okanagan wines on our wine list. Don’t forget to check your pulse and respiration when you get atop our fantastic rooftop patio, complete with a killer view of the liquid beauty that is Lake Okanagan as it stretches out before you. We’re pretty confident you’ll have a patio experience like no other, to be sure. Inside, we’ve just given the whole joint a face lift to make it even more relaxing, more inviting than ever before. And the service…more bubbly than an optimist who just won the lottery. If you told us you weren’t tempted to join us…even just a little bit…we probably wouldn’t believe you.
After taking in the local sights and sounds, head downtown to Earls Kelowna. We’re conveniently located at the heart of the action, across from the famous Sails statue and in front of City Hall. Happily, we’re within five to ten minutes of some of Kelowna’s best attractions: the museum, sports arena, concert venues, major hotels city parks and…most importantly…the beach.
