Snowshoe Sam’s has offered good food and good times to locals and to countless visitors to Big White Ski Resort near Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, since 1980. Our pub has been voted #1 Après Ski Bar in North America by the Good Ski & Snowboard Guide of the UK, as well as awarded the title of #1 Ski Bar in Canada by Ski Canada Magazine. Whether you are looking for great tasting food at a family restaurant with an amazing Okanagan and international wine list, a quiet lounge in which to visit with your friends, or a fun pub offering many activities, Snowshoe Sam’s has it all ! Snowshoe Sam’s is open for the yearly ski season, from the end of October until Big White Ski Resort closes in April. We are located in the centre of Big White Village, so come see us with or without your ski boots on!!!

A La Carte Breakfast is served from 8:00am to 11:00am

Family Lunches are served from 11:00am to 5:00pm

Full dining menu served from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.

Doc Willoughby's Pub

For a scene that’s casual but on the edge of trendy, with a pub like atmosphere but with better food, try Doc Willoughby’s, in the heart of downtown. The building was once a pioneer drugstore (note the hammered-tin ceiling), but the interior has been done up in a strikingly contemporary design. This is a good spot for lunch, as the entire front of the restaurant opens to the street; you can watch the to-ing and fro-ing of tourists as you choose from salads, burgers, and sandwiches. At dinner, the eclectic menu offers lots of fish, chicken, and pasta dishes.

Doc Willoughby’s is an intimate and interactive venue for unbelievable live music, and unreal Canadian talent. Although you don’t have to be Canadian to play here it sure helps.
